Day 02 – Seoul
Today, you will explore Gyeongbokgung Palace, the base of Korea’s last dynasty; the artifacts and treasures of the National Folk Museum; the impressive Jogyesa Temple and the countless bargains of Insa-dong Antique Alley and Itaewon Street. Dinner in the Indian restaurant. Overnight in Seoul. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 03 – Seoul – Goseong – Hwajinpo – Mt.Seoraksan
Travel to Seoraksan national park. En route, stop at Unification observatory, and see Kim Ilsung Villa and fishing village. Today, Seoraksan is the highest mountain in the Taebaek mountain range in the Gangwon Province in eastern South Korea. It is located in a national park near the city of Sokcho. Also referred to as Seolsan and Seolbongsan, the mountain was named Seorak (‘Seol’ means ‘snow’ and ‘Ak’ means ‘big mountain’) because the snow would not melt for a long time, keeping the rocks in a permanent state of white. In November 1965, the Seorak Mountain district was designated as a Natural Monument preservation area. Afterwards in December 1973, it was designated as a park preservation area, and in August 1982, as a Biosphere Preservation District by UNESCO. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 04 – Mt. Seoraksan
After breakfast, visit the live fish market at Daepohang Port, where eel, flounder, yellowtail, and gourmet seafood are sold. See the lively stalls and restaurants surrounding the fish market, selling dishes featuring the local seafood, and then head to Naksan Beach, where Naksan Temple is regarded as one of the Gwandong region’s top sights. The day begins with a cable car tour, followed by hiking in the park. Overnight in Seoraksan. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 05 – Mt. Seoraksan – Andong
After breakfast, proceed to Andong. Andong is the best preserved village with its traditional style houses. In 1999, Queen Elisabeth II from UK visited the Hahoe Village, and was welcomed with the Birthday Party Table decorated in the Korean traditional way. The Hahoe Village in Andong is famous for its unique mask dancing performance. Overnight in Andong. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 06 – Andong – Gayasan – Gyeongju
Today, visit Gayasan National Park to visit famous Haeinsa temple. Lunch in Sanche Jeongsik, including a bowl of cooked rice served with variety of mountain greens. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 07 – Gyoengju
Gyeongju, the capital of the Silla Kingdom, is home to Korea’s largest collection of World Heritage sites. This all day tour highlights some of the most fascinating and historically important locations on the Korean peninsula. As one of the longest sustained dynasties in Asian history, the Silla Kingdom ruled a majority of the Korean Peninsula for approximately 992 years. Visit Cheomsongdae Observatory, National Museum, Tumuli Park and Anapji Pond. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 08 – Gyoengju – Busan – Jeju
Today, depart for Busan. Upon arrival, proceed for a guided city tour, featuring Busan Tower, Jagalchi Fishery Market, Nampodong Shopping Street, UN Cemetery, Busan Municipal Museum, and Busan Haeundae Beach. Later, take a flight for Jeju. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 09 – Jeju
Breakfast at the hotel, then proceed for full day tour of Jeju, a half circle island, with the local English speaking driving guide. You will see Seongsan Ilchulbong, sunrise peak, watch a Haenyeo (Woman diver) Diving Performance, Seopjikoji, small gulf, Haenyeo Museum, Manjang Cave, and Seongeup Folk Village. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 10 – Jeju – Seoul
Today, visit the Women Divers museum, Seongsan Sunrise Peak, Jongdairi Shore Road, and Manjang Cave. Later proceed to airport to take flight for Seoul. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 11 – Departure from Seoul
Transfer to the airport in time for your flight back home. (Meals: B)

Airline rates are approx. and subject to change at the time of booking. Any payments made to Maxim Tours towards any airline are non-refundable. Flights and schedules are subject to change even after booking. Confirmed tour itinerary will be adjusted accordingly. No additional services or compensation will be provided.

The tour will operate with a min. group size of 25 passengers. If the minimum group size not able to form then rates are subject to change.

Passengers joining this tour must travel to/from the hub city at their own expense.
